

At studying of ancient history of archipelago the researcher faces considerable difficulties. The insufficient base of sources, and first of all a weak archaeological and paleontologic level of scrutiny of Canary Islands and adjoining continental territories, does not allow to answer many questions, first of all — whence and when there was a settling of each of islands of the Canary group. Written sources on archipelago stories are not completely studied yet. Only carrying out of new deep complex researches will give to scientists a key to the decision of the major problems of studying of Canary Islands.
Relative isolation to which any island group is doomed, has left the mark not only on a life of inhabitants of Canary Islands, on and on the nature of islands. A specific environment does archipelago by a unique corner of globe. «Islands of eternal spring», «the Crossroads of Atlantic» — so name now Canary Islands more often. But before there were other names...
